How and where do we travel now? I found this very beautiful infographic made by American illlustrator/designer Carl Bender for AFAR Magazine, that answers that question in a way.

Only “in a way”, because it mostly deals with the touristic aspect. Where are the most expensive hotels? Where Americans go? What is the population who travels the most? This illustration gives you very interesting and detailed answers about the business of travel, which is not necessarily about “how” you can really enjoy and experience your travels, or “where” you should go. We think it’s also travelling if it’s in your own city, in your imagination, in small unknown cities, etc.
