Rio, waiting for 2016
Rio. My next destination! In less than a month, I'll be on the plane, all excited to discover this new country and its culture. I'm can't wait to tell you about the carnival, caipirinhas, samba, Amazon and... the preparation of the Olympics!
Indeed, the coming years will be (even more) full of sportive emotions in Brazil, which will be the place of rendezvous for all the countries. First in 2014, when the country will host World Cup football, and then in 2016 for the Olympics in Rio.
On the 31th of December, during a popular festival on Copacabana beach and in the presence of some two million spectators in delirium, the official logo of the 2016 Olympics has been unveiled. It represents three stylized Olympic colors, holding hands... A strong symbol of unity between different cultures.
It was designed by the studio Tatil, after a lengthy selection process for 139 projects. I really liked it and the video presenting even more, so I decided to share it with you while I wait for my flight next month.
Bom proveito!
