New York: Night and Day
American director Philip Stockton made this beautiful video called New York: Night and Day.
This is a time-lapse video, different from all the other ones. The director filmed the same scenes durind day and night, and put together the footage using rotoscoping to create an usual effect, a juxtaposition of night and day within the same shot.
The result is a beautiful piece of art, a way to discover the Big Apple through different eyes, as if this city was a pasteboard set where actors were playing under strange lights.
