Last flight for Leslie Nielsen
Three days ago, the Canadian/American actor Leslie Nielsen passed way. He was a fantastic comedian and surely one of the funniest guy ever. We were big fans as kids so we had to pay our respects with a little article. I mean how could we not love an actor who went on the Forbidden Planet for his first role ? And honestly, I can’t think of a time I boarded a plane without wondering if Ted Striker and the Dr Rumack were in the cockpit.
Rest in Peace, Mr Nielsen. The travel community will never forget you...

Airplane!
Rumack: Can you fly this plane, and land it?
Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious.
Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.
Rumack: You'd better tell the Captain we've got to land as soon as we can. This woman has to be gotten to a hospital.
Elaine Dickinson: A hospital? What is it?
Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
Rumack: The life of everyone on board depends upon just one thing: finding someone back there who can not only fly this plane, but who didn't have fish for dinner.
Naked Gun
Frank: It's a topsy-turvy world, and maybe the problems of two people don't amount to a hill of beans. But this is our hill. And these are our beans!
Frank: It's true what they say: Cops and women don't mix. It's like eating a spoonful of Drano; sure, it'll clean you out, but it'll leave you hollow inside.
Frank: Oh, it's all right. I'm sure that we can handle this situation maturely, just like the responsible adults that we are. Isn't that right, Mr... Poopy Pants?
